Detailed Returns Policy

ONLINE RETURNS:

(This policy has been revised and will apply to all new orders placed on or after January 10th, 2025. Orders placed prior to January 10th, 2025 will adhere to the previous returns policy. This policy is NOT retro-active and will not be applied to orders placed prior to January 10th, 2025) 

If you are unhappy with your purchase, you are welcome to initiate a return for your item/s for a refund or store credit within 3 days of the item being marked as “delivered”. Once you receive the return label from Milivine Boutique the item must be passed over to the shipping carrier within 5 days (this includes weekends & holidays).

You have two options for your return:

  • Receive a store credit for the full price of the dress* (see details below)
  • Receive a refund minus a 20% restocking fee* (see details below)

Store Credits

Store credits are valid for 24 months and can be used for any item/s on our website. If you purchased your items using a discount code, your store credit will be issued for the discounted amount you paid (minus shipping & return label costs). 

There will be no store credit issued for shipping costs or taxes/duties that applied to your order. If your order qualified for free shipping, a flat-rate of $15 will be minused from the store credit.

For returns initiated within the US, a return label will be provided by Milivine Boutique and a flat rate of $15 will be deducted from your store credit. For international orders, return shipping expenses are at the customer's expense.

Please Note: Items purchased with a store credit are final sale and will not be accepted for return.

Refunds

You may also request a refund for your item. All refunded items will be subjected to a 20% restocking fee. If you purchased your items using a discount code, your refund will be issued for the discounted amount you paid (minus the shipping, return label costs and restocking fee).

There will be no refund issued for shipping costs or taxes/duties that applied to your order. If your order qualified for free shipping, a flat-rate of $15 will be minused from your refund.

For returns initiated within the US, a return label will be provided by Milivine Boutique and a flat rate of $15 will be deducted from your store credit. For international orders, return shipping expenses are at the customer's expense.

HOW DO I INITIATE A RETURN?

This is very simple. To start the return process, please click here to use our easy self-return portal within 3 days of receiving your item.

Once you have received instructions from our team, the dress must be sent back to us within 5 days (including weekends and holidays). If the dress isn't sent within the 5 day window, your store credit/refund will be denied. There are no exceptions.

HOW DO I RETURN MY INTERNATIONAL ORDER?

The procedure is the same as above, however store credits/refunds aren't issued for the cost of duties, taxes, customs, or VAT.

When returning an item internationally, shipping is the responsibility of the customer. The customer may opt for whichever carrier is most convenient, however tracking is required. Milivine Boutique is not liable for any returns which are lost in transit or are sent incorrectly.

Any applicable import taxes, customs, duties or VAT required when returning the dress are at the expense of the customer. If these are not paid, the receipt of the dress will be refused by Milivine Boutique and returned back to the customer at their expense.

If for whatever reason the customer refuses import of the item and requests to have it returned to Milivine Boutique, the customer is subject to pay for return shipping.  

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RETURNED ITEMS?

All returns are inspected by our quality assurance team. To be eligible for a store credit or refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with all tags attached, and in its original packaging. Any signs of a dress having been used will be denied for a store credit/refund.

If a dress is received and found to be without tags attached, original packaging not intact, deodorant stains, strong scents of perfume, makeup, dirt, stains, damage, holes/tears, pulls in the material, animal hair, grass stains, odours, etc, the return will be denied.

If a return item is denied, the customer will be contacted and the item returned back to the customer.

ARE THERE ANY FEES FOR RETURNING AN ITEM?

A 20% restocking fee applies to all items returned for a refund. No restocking fee applies to returns for store credits.

If your order qualified for free shipping, a flat rate of $15 will be minused from the store credit.

For returns initiated within the US, a return label will be provided by Milivine Boutique and a flat rate of $15 will be deducted from your store credit. When returning an item internationally, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Any taxes and duties which applied to your order will not be credited or refunded.

PROCESSING YOUR STORE CREDIT

Once our team has inspected your return (this can take up to 7 business days depending on volume of returns), we will contact you to inform you whether the return was approved or rejected. If the return was approved, you will be able to access your store credit immediately by logging into your account.

To view or apply your store credit to your next purchase, you must log in to your account using the email provided on your order. A one-time log in code will be sent to your email to log you in, so please ensure you have access to the email which is provided.

PROCESSING YOUR REFUND

Once our team has inspected your return (this can take up to 7 business days depending on volume of returns), we will contact you to inform you whether the return was approved or rejected.

Once processed by our team, the refund may take 7 - 14 business days to reflect on your payment method.

PLEASE NOTE: We can only process refunds to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. If this is no longer available to the customer, they may receive a store credit instead.

ARE THERE ANY EXCEPTIONS TO THE RETURNS GUIDELINES?

There will not be any exceptions. If a return is requested after the 3-day window, it will be denied. If a dress is sent later than 5 days after receiving the return label, it will be denied. If a dress is received and found to be without tags attached, original packaging not intact, deodorant stains, strong scents of perfume, makeup, dirt, stains, damage, holes/tears, pulls in the material, animal hair, grass stains, odours, etc, the return will be denied.

If a return item is denied, the customer will be notified and the item returned back to the customer.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You have 24 hours after your dress has arrived to contact us and provide pictures of the issue to receive a replacement item.

In the rare circumstance where the customer receives a faulty item, Milivine Boutique will cover the cost of shipping as well as the shipping of the replacement item. All items returned for faults/damages are subject to inspection by Milivine Boutique before providing solutions.

Milivine Boutique is not responsible for damages or issued caused while trying on the dress. This includes tears being made to straps, sleeves or bottom of the zipper area. 

Important Note: Glitter, gems, florals, or sequins shedding from the dress is not considered a fault or a defect. It is perfectly normal for these dresses to shed. 

CAN I EXCHANGE AN ITEM? 

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to process exchanges. You can return the item to us for a store credit which you can use to place a new order.
